The Interior Define Sofa Contest (the "Contest") will begin at [11:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, October 19, 2024]. The Contest is sponsored by Havenly, Inc. ("Sponsor"). Participation is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
The Contest is open only to participants who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of [October 19, 2024], residents of the continental United States, and are physically present to participate at the event located at 68 Greene Street, New York, NY 10012. To be eligible to enter the Contest, the Entrant ("You", "Your", or "Yourself") must meet the eligibility requirements described herein and have read and agreed to these Official Rules. Employees of Havenly, Inc. and its affiliates, the judges, and their immediate family (spouse, parents and step-parents, siblings and step-siblings, and children and step-children) and household members (people who share the same residence at least three (3) months out of the year) are not eligible to participate and receive prizes. The Contest is subject to all applicable United States federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes Your full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. To enter the Contest, participants must arrive at Interior Define’s New York City store located at 68 Greene Street, New York, NY 10012 by [11:30 a.m. EST on Saturday, October 19, 2024]. The first fifteen (15) eligible participants to register with Interior Define’s staff will be able to compete in the contest. The contest will begin at [12:00 p.m. EST] and whichever eligible participant is the last remaining person touching the sofa without break will win the opportunity to order a sofa from Interior Define. Participant must continuously touch the sofa in order to remain qualified. Participants who stop touching the sofa, even for 1 second, will be disqualified. Sitting, laying, or resting on the sofa is prohibited and will result in disqualification from the Contest. Every 30 minutes from 12:30pm EST onward, contestants will participate in a trivia round. Contestants who incorrectly answer the question will be disqualified and removed from the Contest. Correct answers will be at the discretion of Interior Define’s staff.
All participants agree to behave in a respectful manner throughout the duration of the Contest. Physical contact with and/or verbal harassment of another participant will result in immediate disqualification, without warning, and may be treated as a violation of civil or criminal law. All potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
By entering the Contest, You understand the provisions associated with the Contest should You be selected as the Winner and accept the prize as the Winner. You agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, other than those concerning the administration of the Contest or the determination of winners, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved exclusively by the state or federal courts sitting in New York City, NY; (3) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (4) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Eligibility. The Havenly Scholarship Program (“Program”) is open to residents of Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; New York, NY; and Washington, DC, 17 years of age or older who are enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited college, university, trade school, technical institute, or vocational college (“Accredited Institution”) for the 2023-24 academic year. Further eligibility requirements for each scholarship are described below. Employees of Havenly Inc. and members of their immediate family, are not eligible to apply or receive a scholarship as part of the Program. Past recipients of a scholarship under this Program may apply for additional scholarships.
Award: $1,000 per city
Application Deadline: Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm, Mountain Daylight Time on March 31, 2023.

Applicants will be required to submit their contact information, school information, GPA (which is subject to verification) and complete short essay questions. Applicants will also be required to submit a design project or portfolio.

By submitting essays, projects and portfolios as part of your application, you are confirming that all submissions part of your application are your own work.

Available Scholarships: Austin, TX; Boston, MA; Denver, CO; New York, NY; and Washington, DC (collectively the “Scholarships” and each a “Scholarship”).
The Scholarships will be awarded in the form of a check made payable to the Accredited Institution at which the recipient is enrolled (proof of enrollment at an Accredited Institution will be required). Scholarships may not be assigned or transferred. No cash equivalent prize will be awarded. The awarding of any Scholarship as part of this Program is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Program Rules. Scholarships that are not used for the academic year for which they are awarded will be forfeited.
If any recipient of a Scholarship fails to provide proof of identity, refuses to provide required affidavit, is found to have violated the Official Program Rules or otherwise does not meet the eligibility criteria as set out in these Official Program Rules, the Scholarship will be forfeited and will be awarded to another applicant, subject to verification of eligibility..
Havenly is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Program or in the announcement of the Scholarships.
Selection of Recipients. Completed scholarship applications will be reviewed by representatives of Havenly to determine the recipient of each Scholarship in Havenly’s sole discretion. All decisions are final. Havenly reserves the right not to award a Scholarship if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any suitable applications. If, by chance, you know a representative of Havenly involved in reviewing and selecting applications, do not contact that individual regarding the competition or your application may be disqualified.
Recipient Notification. Scholarship recipients will be notified by email and are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Program Rules. If a recipient notification is returned as undeliverable or a recipient does not supply the required verification within the time specified, the Scholarship will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate recipient at Havenly's discretion.
General Terms. Scholarship recipients, by acceptance of their prize, agree to release Havenly Inc., its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, advertisers, officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim arising out of their participation in the Program or the receipt of or the use of the Scholarship. Except where prohibited by applicable law, by accepting a Scholarship, a recipient grants Havenly, and those acting under its authority, permission to use their name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, image, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the Internet, without notice, review or approval.
Havenly is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Havenly, users or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of applications which may damage a user's system or limit a user's ability to participate in this Program. Havenly reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Program should a virus, bug, computer problem, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Havenly’s control inhibit or corrupt the administration, security, or fairness of the Program, and Havenly may disqualify any person who engages in or attempts any such activity.
